There was a time when manufacturers changed the look of a model dramatically from release to release. Think magenta YZs and leopard skin seat RMs – right or wrong, there were chances taken.
Since the four-stroke revolution began however, bikes seem to look pretty damn similar year-after-year so we decided to have a look at the same bike, ten years apart just to see how much they’ve changed across all the majot builders.
Some are completely different (Husky is kinda cheating though), and some don’t look all that that different than they did a decade ago. Which one’s got it right in 2010 and which one’s improved with the march of time? We’ll let you decide, but we reckon three 2020 standouts are Husky and Suzuki while 2010 can be quite proud of the Kawi.
