CDR Yamaha’s Dan Reardon has won back to back rounds following another strong performance in the Australian Supercross Championship.

The 20 lap main event was nothing short of spectacular with Reardon taking out the highly competitive race ahead of local favourite Brett Metcalfe and arch rival Matt Moss.
“How cool was that?” Reardon exclaimed after victory. “It’s been a while since we have had a main event like that where five riders could win it and it was still up for grabs on the final lap. I could hear the crowd the whole time and with Metty being a South Australian, it made for an awesome atmosphere to race in.
“This one means a lot as it wasn’t a gift, I had to earn it over some really talented riders and for the full length of the race. This is the reason why we put in the yard work and I’m so happy it paid off tonight.
“Thank you to the people of Adelaide for coming and making such a great event and also to the CDR Yamaha team as we have the best bike on the track at the moment and things have really come together lately,” Reardon ends.
At the halfway point of competition Dan Reardon tops the SX1 class, seven points ahead of last year’s winner Moss. The championship will now have a few weeks off before returning to Jimboomba X Stadium on November 21.
