2019 ALPINESTARS TECH 10
Alpinestars have been at the top of the boot game for decades, and for 2019, they have raised the bar yet again. The tech 10, Alpinestars premiere motocross boot has been completely re-designed, improving overall functionality, performance and safety, to decrease weight and to reduce the amount of material used. By focusing on this, the Tech 10 now has a greater range of movement and flexibility and an overall improved boot.
The reduction of weight in the Tech 10 is obvious as soon as you strap the boot on, it’s noticeable with the first step you take, well before hoping onto the bike. Every single part of the 2019 boot is lighter than the 2018. To increase the performance and safety of the Alpinestars Tech 10, the Frontal Flexion Control Frame, the Asymmetrical Dual-pivot Arms, the patented Dynamic Heel Compression Protection Shock Absorber is integrated into the redesigned foot shell and the slimmer, more streamlined, outsole. The reduction in material makes for an overall, smaller boot. This allows easier shifting and control operation when riding as well as a more durable product. We have spent a few months in the new tech 10 and we are already very impressed by the high performance motocross boot.
