Mountain Man Motocross is back again after the popularity of the 40th Anniversary revival in 2015. This year will once again feature a mix of vintage and modern racing, celebrating the past, creating champions and inspiring aspiring racers.
2017 will again feature vintage classes from “Pre 1975” to “Pre 1995”, Sidecars, Junior Lites, the popular Golden Tyre 125cc Cup, the challenge of the Mountain Man Unlimited class and Mini Lites and a Womens class has been added for more to enjoy.
A massive prize pool of over $18000 will be awarded to racers. The Mountain Man Unlimited class for seniors of 122cc and over will be paying from the winner at $2000 down to 20th place with bonuses for 1st to 3rd in each of the Pro, Intermediate and Clubman classes. The Golden Tyre 125cc cup is paying from $2000 for first through to 15th place with cash bonuses also for running Golden tyres. The prize pool for the Women is $1300 paying from 1st to 10th place but will be doubled by Gierke Pumps if more than 30 women enter the race, so women races – spread the word and get your friends to enter.
