Matt Moss is throwing it back to 2011 and will compete in the MX2 class on a WBR Yamaha YZ250F at this weekend’s ProMX Nationals event at Maitland, NSW.
Moss has been filling in for the injury riddled team in the MX1 class but this weekend Moss and the WBR squad decided to mix things up and have entered the former champ in the MX2 class.
“I have been racing in the MX1 class with the team but now they have Maximus Purvis here and doing a good job, but regular MX2 competitor Ryder Kingsford is out with injury,” said Moss, “andwe both thought it would be a bit of fun to jump on a YZ250F and race the MX2 class.
“The last time I raced in MX2, or the Pro Lites class as it was known then, was 2011. The team has been awesome and I’m really looking forward to racing this weekend and competing with the next generation of Australian riders.
“I know a lot of the guys in the class but haven’t raced many of them, so it’s exciting for me to race with them and mix it up at Maitland,” Moss said.
