Motorcycling Australia has announced Luke Clout as Jay Wilson’s replacement for this weekend’s MXoN to be held in Ernee, France.

Clout flew out from Brisbane yesterday as a last minute substitute for the injured Wilson. After suffering a stomach injury the Australian rider had to make the heartbreaking decision to pull out of the competition.
Luke Clout will be an adequate replacement having finished as runner-up in this year’s MX Nationals to the injured Wilson. The Serco Yamaha rider is in a similar position to when he made his first MXoN appearance for Australia in 2014 when he was also called in as a late replacement for the injured Dean Ferris.
The MXoN will kick off this Sunday, September 27.
