Australian Supercross legend, Chad Reed has announced that 2020 will be his final season of professional racing. On the eve of the Monster Energy Aus-X Open in Melbourne, the veteran announced that he is plans to race the 2020 AMA Supercross season with support from Mountain Motorsports, however it will be his last.
“What you see is pretty much what you’ll get. Mountain Motorsports has been in helping and supporting everything I’ve been doing. The goal is to go racing and I’m confident we can make that work.” Said Reed, when asked of his 2020 Supercross plans.
“2020 will be my final season. So, it’s a big one.” Said an emotional Reed.
After crashing out of the SX Open in New Zealand, Chad expressed his need to compete in front of the Australian fans.
“I need to race this weekend. For a lot of reasons.” Stated Reed.
