Matt Bisceglia will join the team in Thunder Valley as a replacement.

The luckless Yoshimura Suzuki Factory team will call on the services of Bisceglia after having both Blake Bagget and James Stewart ruled out due to injury.
Stewart dislocated his shoulder in the opening round and despite attempting to race last weekend, has decided to miss Thunder Valley completely. Team mate Bagget broke his collarbone at Hangtown and will be out of action until further notice.
With no available riders, Bisceglia has been announced as a fill in for the premier class.
“We’re happy to have a rider with Matt’s credentials available to fill-in for Blake and James,” said Yoshimura Suzuki team manager Mike Webb. “With Matt coming in this gives us the opportunity to still have a strong presence at the event in Colorado, while allowing James and Blake to have more time to get healthy before they return to racing.”
Bisceglia is no stranger to a Suzuki, having ridden for the MAD Racing/Yoshimura/Suzuki team during this year’s 250 East Regional Supercross series. On his RM-Z250, Bisceglia finished tenth after an injury plagued run. This weekend will mark his first national on a 450.
“I’m really looking forward to racing the Yoshimura Suzuki RM-Z450 this weekend,” Bisceglia said. “It’s definitely a dream come true to have the opportunity to race a 450 for a factory team. It’s the pinnacle of the sport and what every rider strives to achieve. I’m thankful to Suzuki for the opportunity. We’ve had a good couple of days of testing and I’m excited to see what this weekend brings.”
The third round of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross series will take place this weekend, June 4 at Lakewood Colorado’s Thunder Valley.
