Following a very successful 2013 Monster Energy MX Nationals Australian Motocross championship series, WEM is pleased to announce the 2014 championship calendar and venues.
The 2014 Monster Energy MX Nationals, championship series will be conducted over 10 rounds visiting, Vic, NSW, QLD, SA and WA.
The MX1 and MX2 class will compete at all 10 rounds the MXD Under 19’s class will compete at 8 rounds, the Vets Championships will be contested over 2 rounds.
WEM is currently looking at the possibility of running some rounds on the Saturday in an effort to help grow the spectator attendance.
We will announce the specific class breakdowns for venues in the next 3 weeks, along with the support classes.
WEM is currently working with the Motocross Commission and will have announcements on the race schedules and formats in the next few weeks.
“We are working hard to have all this finalised by the end of October so people will have plenty of time to prepare for the new season” Said WEM’s Kevin Williams.
