Jackson Richardson has completed back to back podium finishes following another standout performance at Wayville showgrounds last weekend.

The Penrite Honda Wilson MX rider finished in third place for the SX2 class, just behind Luke Clout and American tearaway Jimmy Decotis.
Richardson backed up a second place result in Jimboomba and is proving to be one of the leading riders in the class. He currently sits third in the championship race, just two points behind Clout.
“It felt good to be back on the podium again, and to be there two rounds in a row is a big confidence booster,” he said.
“The bike was handling awesome all night, and the track at Wayville ended up being quite technical, so a big shout out to the Wilson’s team for helping me out.
“We have a bit of a break now before round four, so I’ll work on a couple of things, and just keep pushing towards that SX2 title.”
Richardson’s teammate Geran Stapleton had a disappointing round following a first turn pile up. Unable to recover from the fall, Stapleton could only make his way back to seventh place, leaving him sixth in the championship standings.
“I’m pretty disappointed with the weekend to be honest, it’s not the result I was looking for,” he said.
“I felt good heading in to the round, but I had a guy ruin my heat race which gave me a really bad gate pick for the main.
“I got caught in a first turn pile up in the main, and after that it was just about salvaging points. It’s not the round I wanted to have, but I’ll just have to see what we can do at Jimboomba.”
The Penrite Honda Wilson MX riders will look to improve upon their round three results as the championship continues on November 21.
