Nathan Trigg was the first 450 home in the Finke Desert Race, piloting a Sherco 450SEF-R. He will again lead Sherco’s desert assault in 2019.
“It’s really pleasing to announce that Nathan will once again race with our Motul Pirelli Sherco Team in 2019,” said Sherco Team manager Derek Grundy. “Nathan is a very talented rider who races the desert incredibly well. With a year of experience of working together we are well on our way to what we think will be a very promising 2019.”
Trigg will concentrate on the Finke and Hattah Desert Race events along with several other races throughout the year including the Trigg Farms Desert MX that will kick-start the season.
“I’m really happy to be racing with Sherco again next year,” Trigg offered. “We had a good year in 2018. We proved the Sherco is fast and reliable and I honestly feel we opened a few people’s eyes to the fact that the Motul Pirelli Sherco Team is dead serious. We have great bikes and we’re already getting busy preparing for next year. We have work to do over the summer, but we’ll show up to the races fit, fast and ready to go for it. I’m already riding the new 2019 Factory model and it’s really good.”
The Motul Pirelli Sherco Team is scheduled to finalise the 2019 Team line-up in the coming weeks with announcements following.
