The two time defending champion will miss the final three rounds with injury.

Martin has never missed a round of Lucas Oil Motocross since turning pro in 2013. Unfortunately the streak will end this weekend with Martin nursing broken ribs following a big crash in Washougal.
The Yamalube Star Racing Yamaha rider took to social media to inform fans of his decision.
“This is very hurtful to inform everyone and tough to swallow, “he said,” but I will not be on the gate this weekend or the last two rounds due to my injury at Washougal. It bums me out to not being able to defend my title. Good luck to everyone racing this weekend. I’m going to miss my fans cheering me on!”
Martin currently sits second in 250MX behind Cooper Webb who now holds a 53 point lead over the next active rider – Joey Savatgy.
