The International stars continue to roll out for the 2016 blockbuster.

The two-time AMA West Coast Supercross Champion will make his second trip to Australia in as many years to compete in the event. Last year Webb entertained the thousands of fans as he set on a last lap battle with our very own Chad Reed. The pair will once again come to blows, this time with Ryan Villopoto thrown in the mix in what is shaping up to be a sensational couple of nights.
“I’m so pumped to be returning to the AUS-X Open in 2016!” exclaimed Webb.
“I really felt all of the love from the fans down there last year, they supported me a lot. I was actually surprised at how many Australian fans I had, especially during night two with how hyped they were, and just in general; they were stoked with me being there, and I really appreciated that.”
“Just all the elements (of the AUS-X Open) make for a cool, relaxed, exciting race that you want to go race; it’s not one of those races that is the ‘same old, same old’; it’s just totally different and you have to be there to see it.”
Webb is excited to return to Sydney, and is honoured to be racing against such legends.
“The rookie vs the veterans; I’ll be racing my childhood hero’s!”
“It’ll be an honour to race Ryan. I think having him come out of retirement for that one race just shows how special it (the AUS-X Open) is. I’ll also be a full-time 450cc rider at that point too, so it’ll be good to stick it to both him and Chad.”
The AUS-X Open already boasts an all star cast and with tickets from only $40, it will be sure to sell out fast. Gather up your mates, lock in the date and get set for a night you won’t forget.
