The Australian claims the overall lead with a second place at stage three.

With two stages remaining Price sits atop the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge leader board. The three frontrunners of Price, Quintanilla and Sunderland were upstaged on stage three by Helder Rodrigues.
A second place result was enough to reinstate Price at the top of the standings some 57 seconds ahead of teammate Sunderland and a further 13 seconds back to Quintanilla.
Price jokingly took to twitter post race commenting that second was all part of his race strategy. “Lucky to finish 2nd today, strategy plays a big role in taking the overall win and I don’t known that part of it yet.”
