Sliding on a new pair of Sidi SRS 3 boots is like popping on my favourite pair of runners. Comfortable, worn-in and perfectly suited to my feet. The Sidi SRS 3 boots arrived a few days before the start of the Amcross series, I planned on wearing the 12 month old Sidi boots I currently had, as I was concerned on the stiffness of new boots. After a few laps around the house in the new boots I didn’t bother even packing the old numbers. Sidi have nailed the mixture of comfort and protection, the fit is first class but it’s not at the cost of safety. While being easy to pivot in on the bike, the new ankle pivot system is designed to have a limit of hyperextension to act against injury while allowing ease of movement on the bike. I grabbed these out of the box and wore them for 3 motos and practice and despite expecting a few missed gears here and there, I can openly say these boots are absolutely top quality. Keep an eye out in a future issue of Dirt Action for a more in-depth review, I am out to throw some more laps in these rad-looking and performing boots. – Matt Bernard
