Finally, fellow MX2 competitor Wilson will take to the track for the first time this season on Sunday, and shared that it’s been a long time coming for the 2015 MX2 champ.
“For me, this weekend is about finally getting back to doing what I love,” Wilson shared.
“It’s been a few months since I’ve raced and I’ve missed it more than anything. I’m approaching this weekend feeling really relaxed and just grateful that I have this opportunity.
“It’s been a while since I’ve raced the MX2 guys so I’ll just see where I fit in this weekend. I feel more comfortable on the KTM every time I ride it, so I’m looking forward to actually racing it on Sunday.”
The 2017 MX Nationals will continue at Nowra in New South Wales on Sunday July 2. Visit the official series website at www.mxnationals.com.au for further information.
